1. TECHNOLOGY. Since 1978, Thiel's service department has been on the cutting edge of technology, utilizing dynamometers to measure, with precision, the performance of the machines we work on. We remain a premiere diagnostic site for all 4 lines of products we carry.

   We were one of the earliest in the industry to apply computer technology to our day-to-day practices. And this continues, as we explore more opportunities for you, the customer, to get things done from the comfort of your own home.

2. PASSION FOR THE SPORT. Thiel's was born from our own sense of fun. Remember when we sold skateboards and bicycles? Not all of "Thiel's Wheels" had motors attached! We don't sell skateboards anymore, but what you will find on our floors are representative samples of some of the coolest and finest machines offered today. We ride, both on the road and off, so we have a personal knowledge of the concerns and issues facing the enthusiast today. We have been involved with various forms of power sport competition, with back-to-back drag-racing championships in 1999 and 2000. In the 2001 year, we were #1 in the Eastern Division, and with a prototype bike, took the #2 National position.

3. STAFF. Many people are surprised when we tell them that our salespeople are not paid on commission. Sure there are occasional bonuses, but the fact remains that the person taking the time to understand your needs doesn't need to "twist your arm" in order to put food on the table! We want to be able to provide concerned and supportive attention to the customer buying the $2,000 used bike, as well as that $45,000 custom. This practice also reduces staff turnaround, increases the experience level of personnel, and eliminates the "used car" syndrome we've all grown to dread.

   Our philosophy is simple:

   • First, we want you to feel as comfortable here as you would at your favorite hangout.
   • Second, we want to explore with you what your needs and wants are regarding the use of your next machine.
   • Third, we want to present you with a few choices that best meet the criteria you set-- show you the models, let you see them, and perhaps even take one for a ride! We will discuss payment and financing options, then make sure you understand the operation of your new motorcycle, ATV, or utility vehicle.

4. ATMOSPHERE. Whether you stop by to grab a cup of free coffee or just to say hello, we are here to greet you as friends in our home. We are proud to say that we have friends from all over the world who have made Thiel's Wheels their choice for buying motorcycles, parts, and accessories. It is not unusual to see trailers from other states bringing their bikes to us for service.
